Arrival and collection

• School gates and supervision begins at 8:40am

• School begins at 08:50 a.m. 

• School for Junior & Senior Infants ends at 1:30pm

• School for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th Class ends at 2:30pm

Lunch

All students are provided with a school lunch every day unless a parent has specifically requested for their child to stop receiving school lunches. Lunches are supplied by Fresh Today. 

• Students receive 2 snacks (fruit, healthy pancakes, rice cakes etc.) 

• Students receive a hot meal at big break. Menus are available from the Lisa, our School Secretary or from Donnachadh, our Home School Liaison Teacher on request. 

• Water bottles are provided at the beginning of the school year. Children can bring in their own reusable water bottles.

We are dedicated to supporting the health, safety, and energy of every child across our school community. To protect any members of our school community with allergies, our school is a 100% nut-free environment. We kindly ask that no foods containing peanuts, tree nuts, or nut-based spreads are brought onto school grounds.

To help keep everyone energized, focused, and ready to learn throughout the day, we ask that treats high in sugar or salt stay at home. This includes chocolate of any kind (bars, cakes, or spreads), as well as fizzy drinks, energy drinks, crisps, popcorn, and sweets.

For daily hydration, plain water or milk is best for staying refreshed. For snacks and lunchboxes, we love seeing simple, nourishing choices like fresh fruits, sliced vegetables, wholemeal sandwiches, wraps, cheese, or eggs.

If any restricted items pop up in a lunchbox, we will simply leave them packaged for your child to enjoy at home after school. Thank you for working with us to keep our school community safe and healthy!
